Team Tecmark triumph at St Helens Triathlon

Earlier this year, we announced the news that Tecmark would be partnering with The Steve Prescott Foundation to create a website for the Tabern St Helens Triathlon.

The triathlon, that took place yesterday at Eccleston Mere, proved a huge success in commemorating the memory of late Rugby League legend and local hero Steve Prescott MBE, who tragically lost his battle to cancer in 2013.

Not one to shy away from a challenge, Team Tecmark joined hundreds of competitors for the gruelling triathlon, taking to the streets, rivers and fields of St Helens to raise money for charity.

Led by our fearless team leader and account manager, Aj Mussell, the Tecmark trio swam, cycled and ran their way through the course to raise funds and awareness for The Steve Prescott Foundation.

Over time, Tecmark has raised a total of over £10,000 for the charity, which will go in helping everyone battling cancer.

2016 is a special year for the SPF. The charity, which works closely with the Christie Hospital, have reached a million pounds worth of donations for its nominated charities, the Rugby League Benevolent and the SPF Special Causes Fund.
