When we first started out, Manchester had its fair share of organic search specialists, but few of them understood the importance of mobile early, like we did.
Its potential was more than just a hunch. We researched mobile traffic as early as September 2009, and used this to steer our strategy for the coming years.
We soon began building apps, and after seeing UK web traffic grow from 8% to 12.5% in the first half of 2011, we started building mobile-responsive websites.
