Manchester-based digital marketing agency Tecmark has agreed a deal to become digital partner to British boxing star Martin Murray ahead of his fight with Mirzet Bajrektarevic tomorrow (Saturday 18 July).
The agreement – which will see the design and launch of a www.martinmurraybox.co.uk, a new, official Martin Murray website using Tecmark’s Sportbox platform – is part of Tecmark’s growing association with professional sport.
Tecmark managing director Richard Heyes said: “These are exciting times for Martin as he continues his quest to become a world champion.
“Martin and his team have big ambitions over the next few years and we’re thrilled to be in their corner delivering a knockout website.
“Our Sportbox platform makes us uniquely placed to work with elite sport professionals, and Martin certainly falls into that bracket.”
Murray, 32, is a former British and Commonwealth champion with a professional record of 30 wins (13 by knockout), two losses and one draw.
Martin Murray said: “It’s fantastic to have Tecmark on board and we can’t wait to see even more of their work as the year progresses.
“The new website looks amazing and should provide an excellent home for the brilliant fans that back me in the ring.”
Earlier this year content marketing specialists Tecmark also agreed a deal to become digital partners of three-time rugby league world club champions Bradford Bulls.
