Digital marketing agency Tecmark has been appointed by ao.com, the leading online electrical retailer, to deliver an interactive summer content campaign aimed at parents with young children.
Tecmark will work with ao.com’s PR team to support its “˜Life Is Messy campaign’ by producing a number of creative content projects, with each designed to boost search visibility and drive engagement on ao.com’s AO Life content hub.
Lyndsey Evans, head of PR and communications at ao.com, said: “We were very impressed by the proposal Tecmark put in front of us and we are looking forward to working with their team.
“Having seen their plans, we’re excited about what they can do to support our summer campaign.”
Established in 2000, AO is the driving force behind one of the largest online electrical retail brands, AO.com, and is the fastest growing online retailer of major domestic appliances.
Having quickly progressed from market innovator to market leader, AO serves 4.5 million UK customers and is the market leader in the UK online market for major domestic appliances. One in four appliances purchased online is bought via an AO website which, as of October 2014, includes its first international website, ao.de, based in Germany.
Stacey MacNaught, search director at Tecmark, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with ao.com.
“They’ve led the way with their phenomenal social media growth over the last few years, and it’s fantastic to be playing a part in their journey over the coming months.”
Multi-screen content experts Tecmark were established in 2008 and are now one of the leading digital agencies in Manchester. They were shortlisted for three awards at this year’s European Search Awards.
