Standout Tecmark apprentice to feature in Apprentice Academy video highlighting great progress

Last week Sarah Pearce was being filmed by the Apprentice Academy to mark her successful apprenticeship at Tecmark.

Sarah joined Tecmark’s Digital PR team in March 2016 as a Digital Content Promotion Apprentice. Since then she progressed amazingly and is delivering remarkable results.

For that reason, she is being filmed for a video about life as an apprentice, that will be used as a showcase to other apprentices and young people choosing an apprenticeship as a career path.

Sarah’s success and great work at our digital agency has been further recognised, with her being presented with the Apprentice Star Award.

Richard Heyes, our Managing Director, says: “Sarah is a great team member. She is a fast learner and works very hard to help deliver the results that our clients are expecting.

“We are committed to giving ambitious young people, like Sarah, a chance in the industry.”

James Clarke, Co-founder and Director at the Apprentice Academy, adds: “Sarah is a great example of how our apprentice program inspires young people to achieve their potential.

“We are very proud of Sarah and her great achievements at Tecmark and we hope that her story will motivate other young people to join the Apprentice Academy.”

Journalists are inundated with pitches and press releases, the majority of which will be moved straight to their trash without a second’s thought. So how do you nail your subject line so your pitch isn’t immediately disregarded?

There can be a variety of reasons for a website to exist, whether that’s because you’re selling a product, service or providing information. There has to be a purpose and focus in how you get that information across so that, first of all, users find your website and secondly, they convert.

At some point during your career in an agency, you’ll find yourself pitching to a client. And it doesn’t stop there – from pitching and presenting a campaign strategy there’s a phone call & face-to-face meeting, and eventually reporting.
