Rugby league clubs across the country are sporting a fresh look as the winners of Tecmark’s ‘Six of the Best’ competition start to launch their new websites.
And the Steve Prescott Foundation is also celebrating after receiving a £1,200 donation from Tecmark – the equivalent of £200 for each new website produced as a result of the competition.
Wigan St Judes are one of the clubs to have benefitted from a mobile-friendly website built on Tecmark’s Sportbox platform. They were the first of the winners to unveil their revamped site.
A total of 37 clubs entered our Six of the Best prize competition, with the winners randomly drawn by Tecmark managing director Richard Heyes and former Salford and Wales prop Paul Highton.
Tecmark managing director Richard Heyes said: “We were delighted with the response to our Six of the Best competition this summer and it’s great to now see the websites going live.
“We’re proud of our Sportbox platform and these clubs now have websites that work perfectly on any device – so they’ll always be looking their best.”
Surrey Sharks chairman Jean-Valery Garcia said: “As part of our expansion plan, owning our website was a big target – and Tecmark’s Sportbox platform has provided a brilliant solution.
“We were delighted to win a new website in Tecmark’s Six of the Best competition and they’ve been fantastic to work with.
“We’d recommend them to any sports club looking for a professional, new, mobile-friendly website.”
Other rugby league clubs to have ordered Sportbox websites include Mirfield Stags and Thatto Heath Crusaders.
